As the title says, when using a gamepad (Xbox One Controller) on PC, reverse is not bound to anything. When I do this, my PS controller stops working in game altogether I have this same problem. DEFAUT plane control in Far Cry 6 are garbage, but I found a way to make them work great. Far Cry 5 had different pre-set configurations. Can’t recall which one I used, but here’s how I achieve something similar in FC6. Go to settings>controls>transportation>planes then look for Yaw. I play on ps4 and they were on my L1 and R1 triggers. This will cause minor inconvenience during skip scenes and crouching, but now you can reverse and descend using "B button". You just have to assign reverse action of all vehicles to some unused keyboard button (O or P), then select your controller from Farcry 5 > controller configuration (not steam settings) > select B button in bottom right I saw a lot of forums on this, but they were back from 2018, So I thought ubsioft would have fixed this by now. I was wrong. In vehicles, the reverse button "L2/left trigger" doesn't work. In planes, I cannot decelerate. In helicopters (the "B" button doesn't work) I cannot descend. Is there a fix for this ? I use Logitech F310 (x input - xbox controller). When I use direct input, everything The left trigger DOES NOT WORK for brake/reverse. The B button WORKS as a crouch/slide button. The B button DOES NOT WORK in lowering the throttle of the airplane. It is clear that those buttons work in the settings. The problem is not the settings. The problem is in the game code. If the buttons work for one function it means they work, period. Controller Fix for No Reverse / Descend. 1) Right click Far Cry 5. 2) Click properties. 3) Disable controller input. 4) Launch game and use mouse and key board until game save has loaded fully. 5) Re-Enable controller input. I have had to do this work around randomly when launching the game multiple times, once game is launched it stays fixed mVE6v.
